Which Hunter's Wrath is better?

So I have two hunters wrath:

  1. A non-ancient one with 424 dex, 435 vit, 97 AR, 15% Life% (rerolled on) and 198% on the affix.

  2. An ancient one with 567 dex, 565 vit, 115 AR, 15% HA damage increase and 181% on the affix.

Toughness does drop 7.1% on the ancient piece (from 850k health to 776k). But I will be running GoD with a Fortress Ballista so it’s only an issue when my shield drops.

Damage wise, is it worth swapping to the the ancient Hunter’s Wrath just so I can augment it? Or is the 17% higher affix roll on the non-ancient too good to give up for an augment?

It’s close. The non-ancient is better if you reroll 15% HA damage back onto it.

My second part to the answer would be “keep farming”.

Yeah, I’ve started dumping shards onto belts again but no luck as yet. Anyway, I’m gonna main DH again next season so we’ll see what I get there. Would love a primal Hunter’s Wrath or Dawn
