Blizzard promised us 5 new stash tabs (1 additional per season) back in season 17ish. We got 1 but then it stopped, what the hell happened? Please make good on your promise Blizzard and resume the stash tabs starting season 21.

Clearly you didn’t pay enough attention to Blizzard’s announcemeents. 5 more tabs was their original intent but adding so many tabs apparently created too much performance issues and thus only 1 extra tab was added.
Here’s the notification, way back in patch 2.6.5:

- The cap for earning additional stash tabs through the Season Journey has been raised from 4 to 5 (PC Only)
In addition, we encountered a lot of technical issues with increasing overall stash space for players. Unfortunately, as these issues caused significant degredation of the overall gameplay experience, we ultimately had to take a step back on this quality of life improvement and table it for now.
