Damn. I cleaned up my seasonal toons and deleted them some hours ago and then noticed problems with Asia not ending the season on time afterwards. Should have known that this would happen and could have farmed some more caches…

Do you really think someone has to be stood in the server room to do this? Remoting into servers from distant locations has been a thing for a couple of decades now.

Nah they 're not amateurs. They know what they 're doing. They just don’t care… That’s arguably worse. Even an amateur would have the courtesy to post an update to the official european forum but leave it to your players to do that. Just like amatuers are figuring out how each patch is working (or not).

Just like coronavirus, nobody in the US cares about the delay in shutting down season 21 in Asia and Europe until the delay hits US servers…

You might want to re-think that as a reason for why someone should / should not be allowed to complain that the season hasn’t ended on time…

Did you realise Season 20 didn’t end on time in Asia and EU too? It’s perfectly valid for players from those regions to complain about this happening again. It’s a frequent occurrence.

My money is that they decided to end the season after Tuesday’s maintenance. Lets hope I am wrong.

The server is in Nevada. Resetting the season is next on their list soon as they finish their current task. May be a bit.

Its not like they have to code something. Resetting the season is basically pushing a button for them.

I guess they did tell us it is taking longer than expected and they are aware of the issues. Things we have not heard include:

1.) Any decision about a planned delay (e.g. will the season end at whatever random time the ‘techs’ resolve the issue, or is it being rescheduled?).
2.) Is the team actively working it, or was overtime denied and the team will start looking at the problem during normal business hours tomorrow?
3.) Are there any anticipated issues with continuing to ‘enjoy’ S21 content until the season ends?
4.) Are there any anticipated delays to the patch or start of S22 as a result of this issue?

Lots of other questions. . . consider adding them for the community manager to think about answering :slight_smile:
