I just started playing in December. After a week or two I decided to make a seasonal character. I thought seasonal characters would only last the season of 30(?) days. Did they change the season length?
Seasons usually last around 3 months, give or take a week or two.

Seasons have never been 30 days. Shortest was S2, I believe was around 2 months. Longest was S1 and maybe S28 which were around 6 months. Majority have been around 3 months as Yessquire said.
We should probably get a season end/start announcement in the next couple of weeks. Maybe.

So we don’t see the anonce seems that it is an assumption. I think that season will end march 8 and new one starts at 13th.But i’d be glad if Perusoe will be right
Latest seasons have been mostly 86 days, last season 79 days, I hope they stick to 79 this season also🙂
No news yet, so likely season 37 ends on 8 march.
It ends on March 15th at the earliest and start on March 20th. It’s too late for the end of next Sunday and D4 Season starts on March 10th the three day Season for extra 
The new season, Season 38, might go like this: season ends March 1, 2026, starts March 6, 2026 Three times 6 equals 666, their favorite gematria number.
S37 End: Sun 03/01/2026
S38 Start: Fri 03/06/2026
Exactly the 90 days they wanted to stick to.
D4 Season 11 should start first on Dec 9th so it was 4 days after D3 S37 start. D4 season start was postponed from Dec, 9th to Dec, 11th but ONLY due to the game awards. So…D3 S38 starting at Fri 03/06/2026 and D4 S12 starting on Tue 03/10/2026 would be exactly the same situation like in December 2025 with D3 S37 and D4 S11 on their initial announcement dates. So no problem at all. Nobody cares.

S38 will start later, they announce season 2 weeks in advance, so if s38 came 6th march we would get notice friday 2 days ago. So prob s 38 drop 13. Or 20. March.
Every season we get a few dozen posts like this.
And every season the answer is the same.
When it is announced.

I predict S37 will end when it ends, then S38 will start when it starts. This prediction has been accurate 35/36 times so far.

I will go even further.
I will predict S37 will end when they announce it.
I will also predict S38 will start when they announce it with the theme they announce.
Seems to be a pattern, odd.

Do I remember correctly or what?: Haven’t they stopped announcing the end of season but only announce the start of the next season - and then we have to guess/know that the season ends the Sunday before the Friday when season starts?.

That’s my recollection too.
Basically… keep plugging along until we get the ‘start of next season’ announcement, and keep one’s stash purged of unnecessary items to make pre-season stash clean up easier.
