My favorite character is Necro, but my favorite build is WW-Wastes with Bul Kathos. There’s just something satisfying about permanent whirlwind. So, I often start necro, then swap to barb to farm, then finish off necro again for pushing.
Skeletal mages were part of the set bonus to reduce cooldown for AoTD until they decided to remove them from the equation along with bone spirit and reduction in cooldown per hit by half.
I would absolutely love it if they even allowed the revive to raise skeletal mages since A.I of Revives are atrocious. As far as skeletal mages, I wouldn’t want them for damage but to help reduce cooldown for AoTD.
Cooldown is still too far long to tackle on things like goblin pack unless they allowed Unconventional warfare rune to be casted at command skeletons target or something.
WW-Wastes is very satisfying. I also like Savages. Both have a nice appeal that also scratch a D2 itch now and then.
Not just that but slaying stuff in a Greater Rift to snowball Revives or MoSD spawn is not an easy task. They supposed to be paired with another summon to make things easier; like a Golem or Skeletal Mages. Both of which, apply for Trag’Oul or LoD setups. As far as I can tell Revive is meant to be pigeon holed into a pet spec but Bones of Rathma is created for moving away from this stereotype.
There’s not much you can do to shorten the length of a long cooldown, but as a Necromancer you have many options to freeze targets periodically. Also you can exploit Blood is Power passive if you can include a skill rune with blood cost somewhere. And yes, goblins are susceptible to freeze effects for a small while too.
Sure but you’re also working with 6 active skill slot
. I just think the ability to raise mages is a better option since S.M’s A.I doesn’t have much of an issue attacking their target and it fits the name BONES of Rathma better.
Given that this is my favorite set, I do enjoy angelic crucible theme of course
. Too bad they can’t add that power to Fate’s Vow head piece
Yeah, but it does 110. What more do you want from a strafe natalya build lol.
I find it absolutely banger to player, you just run around and gather big groups and then eventually if you get lucky you pop em! RNG treadmill at it’s finest!
Pony sader Fist of the heavens/Aegis of valor, hellfire amulet with indestructible and passives Finery, heavenly str,Vigilante + Lord commander, atleast somewhat less squishy . DH GoD .
FoH Pony sader is by far my favourite.
In early versions of the game, before this build was a thing I often tried to make a FoH build viable and with pony sader it finally became a viable option
Well, they have 5 days to show if they are back on the pulse of the players, like when it was gamers making games for gamers, or still completely out of touch like when we got the Immoral and Necro announcements.
A little goes a long way. Simply turning on the Altar/Visions non-season would go a long way for many D3 players. Heck, some new pets/wings would probably make people do back flips.

Someone’s got jokes today!
Don’t you guys have phones?
Yes, it would, but again, we no longer have the Blizzard that cares about gamers. They care only about money. While I do give credit where credit is due, they would have a lot to atone for if they were going to try going from the worst back to one of the best gaming companies.
I am not optimistic. I am not pessimistic. I am realistic. Alexismad prediction board:
1000:1 they do something big for D3 (xpac, dlc, remaster)
20:1 they do anything for D3.
7:5 they don’t do anything for D3.
2:1 they don’t even mention D3 at all.
Prop predictions:
50:1 we pet auto-salvage non-season
100:1 we get Altar non-season
200:1 we get Visions non-season
500:1 we get Altar/Visions non-season
40:1 we get a new pet
40:1 we get new wings
20:1 we get any cosmetics
5:1 they turn on double goblins for the last 2 weeks of this season
6:5 we get an apology 2 weeks after Feb. 11 saying it was a internal error (that will never be corrected or even addressed) not mentioning D3 (who they still love!!!).
Disclaimer:
I do not own or endorse any casinos or gambling sites. These predictions are simply for fun and creating engaging conversation.
The completely saddest part is, I agree they do not care much for gamers anymore, but, if they simply turned on Altar non-season, it would sort of kinda look like they care while costing them 5 minutes of an employees time to turn it on. This is how out of touch they are with their player base that they do not see this.
I play a fun little exploring game with my wife, Terraria. They made the game in 2011. They have repeated said development would end since 2012. They have released many content updates since 2012 and a good size one last month. The game does not have a cash shop that I am aware of. The game does not have constant xpacs and dlcs to bring in money.
Until Blizz remembers their customers are not bags of money, but people, they will continue to make the same dumb mistakes over and over.
Those are some interesting odds. What are the odds that the “big news” ends up being something like “We’re adding MTX to D3!!!”?
I think they already know this, they just don’t care. Just like they know how bad they’re disliked, but they’re getting the last laugh from all the whales like Kilo who will probably blow their tax refunds on this stuff.
Exactly why I tell people like Aboshan that there is always a chance. Diablo 2 is a perfect example. They said and emphasized that there would be NO MORE updates or content to the game. Here we are, 26 years later and they’re mentioning it in the anniversary notes. Though I’m guessing it’s just a Switch 2 upgrade.
As long as those whales keep shoveling their paychecks to this company, that will remain the status quo. Imagine if people in your neighborhood kept coming over to buy a cup of water from your garden hose for $100. Would you cease it?
Expanded prediction board:
20:1 D3 gets a cash shop
6:5 Cash shop sells cosmetics only
3:1 Cash shop sells stash tabs (that were previously impossible to add to the game)
5:1 Cash shop sells goodie bags that may contain mats, gems, gold
10:1 Cash shop sells xp boosts, better Kadala/rerolling odds, Urshi chances or better Primal drop “luck”
20:1 Cash shop sells cool new legendary gems that give you 1,000,000% more damage per level, but can only be upgraded by using special Urshi gems that are sold exclusively at the cash shop and work better the more times you swipe your card (your welcome you know who).
Well, whales only do this to show off how poor everyone is because they cannot buy that $500 Unicorn mount or destroy non-P2W players in PVP with their 6 figure character. Once normal people figure this out and stop buying the games, the whales leave in sadness because they can’t rub their wealth in other peoples faces.
We are already starting to see this happen with the lackluster selling of D4. This game has been on sale more times than I can count and, hell, it went on sale less than 2 months after release. This, coupled with reported constant in game spam of “visit the cash shop”, and the constant advertisements you have to click to go away on the launcher tells me sales have not been anywhere near what they expected.
Blizz knows there is something wrong. They simply cannot pull their heads out of their spreadsheets to see what that something wrong is. All they have to do is call me. $50k a year, I can make them multi-millions (I also need to work from home, 6 weeks paid vacation, 100% 401k match, weekends/holidays off, and no one bugs me outside of 9-5 during the week).
10/10
