The topic name says it. I thought that the last strike with the last rune, giving +500%, is the best. But D3 planner somehow says otherwise.

But why??? It gives only 255%. And the very last one is 500% and deals some kinda ray. Why is Mangle better?
Because has very wide range. When you are in a big pack of monsters Mangle will hit lot of them and other generators hit much fewer. Of course, for single target other gens could be better, but if you want a pure generator build them you want to clear big packs faster.
