Weapon damage or increased damage, which is better?

I have two Oathbreaker swords.

Sword 1 - has 2845 weapon damage, and 165% increase to primary skills.

Sword 2 - has 2018 weapon damage and 192% increase to primary skills.

Which will do more damage overall?

Increased by X% means
WD * (1+X%)

Plug the values into the formula

S1 = 2845 * (1+165%) = 7539.25
S2 = 2018 * (1+192%) = 5892.56

S1 is clearly better. It is about 27% more damage than S2. I bet S1 is an ancient and S2 is just a regular.

Yeah sword 1 is ancient, it dropped with great stats except for the damage increase to primary skills.

Reforging costs a lot, so I’m glad I don’t have to go and farm more mats.
