I redownloaded D3 got this error. None of the solutions work. Looks like this has been an issue since Feb 4. I guess they really out of funding.

The thing is if you took this and did a search on the internet it will tell you what to do to fix it. I tell people all the time if you are having a problem. Go and research it on the internet. Most of the times it will tell what it is and tell you how to fix it.

This is what I found:

The “VCRUNTIME140_1.dll not found” error indicates a missing or corrupted Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library, which is essential for many applications, especially games. To fix this, you need to reinstall or repair the necessary Visual C++ Runtime packages
