They don’t have to test ANYTHING, there is plenty of ways to make the PvP “fair” instead of just f… the 21:9 users.

Its easy to fix. Activate the Black Bars if someone activates PVP and deactivate it if not. Im sure this is not a Big Problem for Blizzard.

You know…there is the possibility Ultrawide is just turned off for the Beta. Perhaps it puts more strain on the servers.
I wouldnt get too up in arms about it until such time as Blizz announces that its no longer a thing.

No, not SP, is that easy as: If you enter in PvP, you dont have that extra range. Simple.

I bought an ultrawide monitor with a 3840x1600 resolution just to play this in ultrawide full screen as I watched those on youtube in the invite only beta play this way. Now I have black bars and I’m not happy. This is 100% crap and needs to be fixed. For those crying over it not being fair in PVP, what about those who only play single player or coop? The only reason you are upset is because you don’t have an ultrawide monitor… if you had one you would be upset too, so just stop. Also Blizz, just have the black bars show up if PVP is activated like others have mentioned, should not be a hard thing to do.

Very disappointing to see those black bars, Odyssey G9 5120 x 1440 and those giant black bars really do get in the way of enyoing the game like I thought I would. I hope they will fix that on the launch date or I will refund my preorder for sure… Played D2 like 15 years btw, hardcore fan, veteran, and I am really looking forward to this remaster…

This isn’t a good solution. It’s garbage. It’s a stupid bandaid fix that is just going to get worse over time when more people get ultrawide screens.
At the very least make the UI fit both sides. Right now the UI also had huge black bars on both sides, THAT is GROSS.

Im very disappointed to. Im not sure if i refund or not. I love Diablo but this takes alot of the fun from the game. The bad thing is that many bought it extra because they saw in videos that it works with ultrawide monitors.
