Rage, it’s more work to not aug your gear than just generically slap in level 100 gems into ancients that you came across then having leveled up stones fill up space in your vault. 
Having some leveled up stones in my vault sounds great! I have literally zero gems around for augs on my NS characters.
Thanks for sharing the Rax video on augments and for the thoughts on the subject. I really struggle with this. My natural instinct is to get the gems leveled up very high before augmenting so as to not “waste” the investment, since jumping from 100 to 130 or 150 entails losing the time you invested into leveling the first 100.
This season so far I’m doing the same - no augments so far. Granted, part of the reason for this is that I’m mainly playing z for xp and gem leveling, but I do have a GoD DH I’m using when I don’t have a group. Per the advice I should go ahead and augment to boost the GR level I can speed solo - and perhaps take a stab and playing dps in groups while I’m at it.
