Transmute failed - Leorics Crown + rank 25 gem of ease

As above, this cube recipe does not work as intended on the PTR.

Reforged a Leorics Crown to ancient with 100% legendary effect, added rank 25 gem of ease from Djank Mi’em vendor bag.

Transmute failed.

Edit - Using the same Gem of Ease in a socketed level 70 weapon works correctly.

Edit 2 - Tried again using a Leorics (which rolled 100% effect) and a Gem of Ease from the vendor bags and same result.

Kanai Cube recipe not working

“Work Of Cathan” which is suppose to remove level requirement on items does not work while leveling I used my blood shards to obtain some gear from the ptr gear vendor as well as level 25 gems. I tried removing the level requirement on multiple pieces of gear, with a 25 gem of ease into cube and get a red error/warning saying transmute failed

The cube recipe to remove level requirement from an item failed. I’m using the Gem of Ease from the PTR vendor’s bag.

Legendary Gems from Goat Bag cant be used in Cube Recipes

As the title says, Legendary gems from the bag of legendary gems purchasable from the Meme goat in the PTR dont work when for example, You try to remove the level requirement from a Leroics Crown using a gem of ease and must get a new fresh gem from a GR instead. unsure if this intended, But if not, might be an issue in later ptrs.

Yes I found the same thing. Preleveled Gem of Ease does not work in the cube only in socketed weapons. Receive ‘Transmute failed’ notice.
I confirmed the normally dropped and normally leveled GoE works correctly.

As a work around, don’t use the preleveled gems from the PTR vendor. They seem to be special versions that don’t work for that recipe.

Instead, use a normally dropped and normally leveled GoE.
