I get the error “There was a problem creating the game. (Code 30002)” when trying to start a private game. I also cannot join public games, with the same error appearing when creating public game. Any solution?
- wait for the PTR to become available again
- play live version
In the meantime, if you’re going to play PTR, it is best to keep informed of what is happening on the PTR… see the posts by Blizzard on PTR Bug Report and PTR Feedback forums. Avoid posting PTR issues on the regular forums… it only confuses things.

Try this …
- Go to the Battle.net app
- Go to Settings
- Go to Game Settings
- Select “Additional command line arguments”
- In the box add this: OnlineService.Matchmaking.ServerPool=Default
- Click on done and restart game.
