The necromancer survives

This is really the main surprise.
The fact that there are different kinds of necromancer, are more of an advanced class, there is something different about this kind of skill in the Lord of terror. What is reanimation?

The idea of a necromancer being to weak, isn’t really a new idea, because when magic turns to a dark version, it’s still black magic. A kind of magic still considered black magic, is sort of a flaw. It is required to create a shadow or that would not be an option either.
One dracolitch per world, is about the limit, unless they had two and one projected into the astral plane, to help the other fight. It’s an idea, but that is how dragons fight against one of them, and they have anonymity of all other dragons.
If there shadow could be detected, it would be possible to locate them, but if it is not then they would become the most powerful as a resurrected dragon god. One problem with the idea, is that draconic magic differs greatly from other kinds. It offers great and powerful reward, but also draws from the draconic constitution. Few other mortals will ever be able to direct the vitality, it requires to preform a kind of magic without a connection to arcane arts.
I don’t mind relating a bit of draconic lore, but even the shadow of a dracolitch, through sardonic magic, is too much for mortal spell casters. The main difference, is that without a shielded mind, the sorcery used to raise a sardonic form, still would exist inside the mind, eventually it would cause the dracolitch to drain there essence.
Necromancer s made use of necrotic spells, copies of other magic, and summoning to deal damage. The search was for some result that was control from another kind of undead. The mummy or vampire, or an undead orb, there are several kinds of magic controller.
Though I think the result is a shape shifter. Because they easily copy the spells they envounter.
