I got introduced to Sabaton and Powermetal about half a year ago and some of their songs are really great, which for me means that some of them are really melodic and catchy.

We all grow older 
I was raised with Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and a Sword as a Spoon.
And as Kid I only listened to Heavy Metal, Death Metal or Punk.
While I now mostly enjoy Rock, EDM or even Nightcore 
Maybe it is true, that you get more relaxed an quiter, as you get old.
