Can we add GR modifier please?
So we can select the types of maps and trash mobs. I’ll pay gold for this.
Other games like Wolcen already have features like this. This will get rid of the notorious fishing aspects of the game. Whoever pushes solo will know how horrible it is to just sit in front of the computer, alone, putting in keys, and leave, and new game. over and over and over… after a while, it makes you question why are you playing this idiot game?
So, can we have GR modifier, please? Dev, put it in!

So, how much gold would it cost to only have Festering Woods, with melee mobs and a conduit pylon right at the entrance?

Good thing Meteor it cannot happen. It’s not nice to have a long corridor map but so be it even for grease members
I wouldn’t mind couple hundred million gold for a gg map like this.

Wolcen has lost 60% of its regular playerbase in the last 30 days. Not the best game to use as example, especially considering how much of it sucks.
I could never understand people that want to keep making the game easier all the time. They went from reg maps to basically hall maps. Now you want maps so you can pick and choose which one is even easier.
Here is a thought: Hit 1, 2, or 3

Because the only thing those people are pros at is playing the forum instead of the game. That’s why you see those self-labelled pros often make the stupidest threads.
it’s not making the game easy to want to play on fun maps instead of narrow windy monster vacant maps. You’ve still got to deal with the adds and get proper pylon spawn to get a top run.
There is literally no challenge in fishing, funny how people confuse ‘hard’ with ‘lack of instant gratification’. They’re two different things. The challenge comes when you get a rift that you can actually do when you’re pushing. Not putting a key in, looking at the map/mob type and leaving game because one or more likely both are not going to allow you to do the key on time.
Never, that is fun and we know what blizzard does when something is fun in this game

By looking at your Profile you are one of those people. That are sitting in front of the computer 12 to 16 hrs a day. At almost 6000 Paragon
Plus the OP is over 6000 paragon. That is why you & him want this to be Paragon / Leader-Board Kings. People this is a Video Game not a Contest. Enjoy the game for what it is. If you don’t like it don’t play it live with it.
What a wonderful idea John Travolta!
Blizzard please listen to this post!
+100 ^^

I wouldn’t mind paying 90% of remain gold balance on ‘healthy’ maps. Ppl who oppose to these kind of ideas never done menu simulator / tiers high enough that 1/1k-10k keys are pushable for everything to line up.
Rng in this game is time sink that is stone age concept which do not fit in current lifestyle anymore. Its a more 80/90s thing where efficiency is low era. D2 peak days spending 1 - 2 years farming daily for 1 item was feasible/heroic, today these behaviours are absolutely idiotic.

I’m not entirely sure the idea of work → reward is a “stone age concept.” I think the idea of having random events be so rare that they’d only appear that frequently is, however. No one minds doing that kind of work if you know the reward is eventually coming. Paragon’s a perfect example. People will eagerly farm for it because the power gain is guaranteed. I think the solution is a Smart Loot system where randomness is still present, but the ranges are limited enough that you still have a reasonable rate of power progression.
Randomness should always be a factor in Diablo. I would suggest that it adds to the aesthetic. Sanctuary’s not a stable place. It’s a war zone between Heaven and Hell, where humans are pawns in an Eternal Conflict. You don’t have control. You don’t have guarantees. You’re supposed to be afraid of the monsters, venturing out with what little you can scrap together to fight. That’s the fantasy of the game. There’s no quest, like in WoW, where you go bring back 12 bear backsides for the king and he gives you an Epic. You go, and you fight demons. Maybe you get lucky. Maybe that best item just happens to be in a barrel or under a rock in a slimy, maggot-infested cave. Randomness is part of the adventure.
Clearly I enjoy the game, considering your hypothesis of myself. Did you even think before you flung yourself up on that horse?
Ah, I see. You play hardcore and need those chokey maps to prevent death. Guess reading for context isn’t your thing, re read the OP. Also, rat, don’t try and shame me because I like the game and put work into it and gain paragon. That sort of transference is pathetic and easily spotted. If you want to be ‘strong’ in game figure out a way to get there. I accept no blame for your lack of effort and jealousy.

You know why D3 isn’t very popular on twitch? Because nobody wants to watch people playing the menu game (open rift, leave and new game), which is sadly what endgame D3 is all about.
