Stop with polls, they mean nothing on this forum

with a majority of any opinion on this forum voting on a poll, you do harm to the democratic open doors that invite every player to post.

results from a few hundred people, on a biased forum, are never valid, to prove or influence anything.

Sadly, this is the method Blizzard uses.

I remember back in early D2 LoD days October, 2003 was first ladder season.

Blizzard did a poll not long after ward to get a feel for how long the seasons should last.
It was done on the forum with about a hundred posters.

Meanwhile hundreds of thousands of players world wide had no idea they could have helped shape the length of Diablo II seasons.

Its always the people that lose the vote that end up disliking the vote.

I assume if it went the other way people wouldn’t be trying to run damage control right now.

i suggest to read the OP, before commenting.
except when poster doesn’t care about that part.

This is adequately covered in the stickied thread at the top of the forum…

Petition posts are frowned upon.

These are discussion forums and, as such, we ask you hold discussions. Creating a thread to ask for replies as “votes” is not a discussion. Threads violating this guideline are subject to moderation, including deletion.

i was about to write the sameee!! :joy:

we could use this thread to poll:

polls are fun, more please +1

You’re more likely to find Poles on the EU forums.

Meanwhile the “Make an offline mode for D4” has 3’649 replies."
The other “Make an online mode for D4” has only 40.

3’649 vs. 40 is like
98.903% Offline Mode Thread
1.096% Online Only Thread

i know this has no meaning… just saying…

Of which, over 2000 are from the same 15 people.

…from the D2 fanbase.

the firm has no other offline PC games? doesn’t matter

Had they cared they would have been active onnthe forums to begin with. Everyone knew there were forums.

The online thread was making fun of the offline threads. It was never a serious thread. And like already mentioned, half of those posts were from 15 people.

LOL R2F lecturing us on pointless threads…

Starcraft 2 can be played offline.
Warcraft 3 Remaster can supposedly be played offline when it releases.

Not true.
I was not aware there were Blizzard forums when I started playing D2.
This was long ago.

it doesn’t have merit;
offline and RMAH forum threads are heavily triggering D2 fans;
they want tolerated piracy and crime for D4, like they have now for D2.

so ‘all those reactions and readers’ come from one vocal niche on the forum, while the 1000x bigger playerbase are bored by them.
-the best arguments are ignored and only selfish retoric comes through.

Totally agree the offline D2 niche want that save option so they can play with zero risk in their safe zone. Oh I died, reload
