Stone of Jordan doesn't work with Flame Blades

When Stone of Jordan is worn, all static elemental damage bonuses (displayed in the details window) should be the same. Spectral Blade - Flame Blades increases fire damage bonus, it seems to be the static fire damage bonus, the value in the details window is increased, Chantodo’s Resolve changes its element, but all other elemental damage bonuses stay unaffected. The same effect can be observed with Black Hole - Absolute Zero. On the other hand, another skill that also gives a temporary bonus to one element - Wave of Force - Arcane Attunement, behaves consistently - isn’t shown in the details window, doesn’t work with SoJ, etc.

If it’s not a static elemental damage bonus, then Flame Blades shouldn’t affect other skills and items depending on static elemental bonuses, like Chantodo’s Resolve. If it’s a static elemental damage bonus, then Flame Blades should work correctly with Stone of Jordan and increase all elemental damage bonuses.

On the video the character starts attacking with Flame Blades while wearing Stone of Jordan. Only fire damage bonus increases. Note that the video also showcases another, unrelated issue with Enchantress’ Amplification skill, described in another bug report.

Stone of Jordan

Each of Elemental Damage bonus is equal to the highest static Elemental bonus to skill

Flame Blades

Each enemy hit increases the damage of your Fire spells by 1%, up to a maximum of 30%, for 5 seconds

Fire damages are not static (1 to 30%).

So there is no bug

This is true, but when he casts Spectral blade, his other Elemental damages drop, when there should be no change in any of them except for fire.

It’s another problem, that’s why I didn’t reply on the other thread.
I just talked about static/non static elemental damage interaction.

Yes basically the problem is Flame blades was never in the DIBS pool, which means never on sheet damage, which would suggest it should be multiplicative but isn’t, it’s just additive. So that’s why SOJ isn’t buffing it further.

Just another screw wizard technical because it being multiplicative would actually bring Firebird flame blades really up to par without making it OP like MI was.

So rather than a bug it’s just a really bad technicality.
