Hello, angelic crucibles and sanctified objects, do not grant stats of 100%, example intelligence 750 out of 1000, does not allow stats to rise above 750
This was reported the day the PTR went live…
Something is very, very wrong with Angelic Crucible… My ‘Remorseless’ with +1000 and 10% damage that took 20 roles to get, has 507.6 damage…
Did you roll off the elemental damage into something else?
yes, that is how I got the +10 damage…
didn’t realize how much that would hurt… Still +1000 STR = 500 damage… doesn’t seem quite right…
That’s because you don’t understand what weapon damage is. It has nothing to do with main stat. Every weapon has a base level of damage, and then a huge heaping of “elemental” damage, which is what the +XXXX-YYYY [element] damage property gives. That is the property you rolled off the weapon, exposing the base weapon damage.
Main stat will increase your overall damage, but it does not affect weapon damage.
This “bug” has been reported so many times that there is a sticky on the bug report forum explaining exactly this.
