Sorry Caps: FOR 100 DOLLARS, I REQUIRE A PHYSICAL COPY

If I got physical copy of Diablo 4 I would not be able to install it from DVD because I don’t have DVD drive in my PC anymore. And physical copy on USB stick just does not feel right.

Can I add a french maid & a babysitter, I will need them when the game drops.

No, that’s a fact. You’re a customer, you have zero rights to make demands, your rights are limited to buying the products or not buying the products, that’s it. I really don’t understand where the US got into the delusion that “the customer is always right”.

You seem pretty used to yourself though…

Unless you are referring to something other than Final Fantasy, no you don’t.

Especially if you are in the US.

Well, likely there is a forum manager, however I believe op would like to speak directly to some other manager…

Oh, you’re using that tired old neo-con talking point? Well, you may want to sit down for this:

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2022/oct/25/charlie-kirk/many-climate-predictions-do-come-true/

https://www.science.org/content/article/even-50-year-old-climate-models-correctly-predicted-global-warming

https://climate.nasa.gov/

https://scied.ucar.edu/learning-zone/climate-change-impacts/predictions-future-global-climate

If you wanna argue with, let’s see, folks like NASA and the world’s scientific community, and If you want to do that when you are not a scientist, not to mention that you don’t possess any graduate or specialist education in environmental science, that’s your business and you should keep it between you and the doctors in the concussion protocol tent. But here’s a friendly tip. Climate change denial is not a good look this year, or any year.

TLDR: You wrong.

Heard of Venus? Might want to read up on what effect it has on that planet.

He’ll easily shrug and discredit them. Just watch. As the saying goes, nothing is a threat until it’s immediate. However, ignoring it now would make it only worse and harder to recover from at the future.
I think that’s enough off-topic talk though…

Nonsense. We can’t even measure global warming much less confirm it. The first thing we would have to know is exactly how warm the Earth should be. We can’t even accurately measure global carbon dioxide levels, past present or future. At the moment the Earth is cooling due to a Grand Solar Minima. Which proves nothing about carbon dioxide but everything about their phony data. The world’s science community is not in agreement no matter how many non-governmental organizations say they are. Science isn’t a consensus. NASA can’t exactly be considered reliable when their employment depends on repeating whatever the politicians tell them. Stop spreading FUD.

And still no one has provided any solution to their imminent crisis prediction that doesn’t involve killing half of humanity.

Sure, and thus you get a few climate change deniers and flat earthers from time to time, even among self-proclaimed scientists.

:joy:
That would give even more credence to the data supporting global warming science. Look, temps are going up at a time where it otherwise should have gone down!

Which, even if we pretended it was remotely true, would be irrelevant for whether global warming was real.
Heck, another common fake story about global warming, that it wasn’t caused by humans, is also technically irrelevant for whether global warming would be real.

It’s not a few.

Except they’re going down.

No need to pretend. Global warming may or may not be real. We really don’t know if, or how, or what humans have contributed to it. The responses to it however are pure scam. Don’t you think they would be a little more serious about doing something practical if they believed their own predictions? The oil companies are doing more about carbon dioxide than governments, and getting richer in the process. That’s what makes killing off half the population with as a remedy in response to an unproven theory relevant.

https://climate.nasa.gov/interactives/climate-time-machine/

Yeah… humans always do what is good for them and their planet.

That’s why our oceans aren’t full of plastic, the air in our cities is clean and our food isn’t full of poisonous chemicals :upside_down_face:

Based on past posts, I am pretty sure you dont have enough faith in governments/politicians to actually believe that they would handle a task well merely because they believe in it? :stuck_out_tongue:

While I do have a reasonably amount of trust in politicians ability to improve things, even I wouldn’t exactly consider their ability to quick responses to long-term crisis (far beyond next election) as something they are good at.
A war? That is something here and now, they can act on while participating in photo sessions. Invisible enemies, that has a cost today and a benefit in decades, that is much harder. Unfortunately.

Out of the entire population of scientists with relevant backgrounds, eh, it is only few.

I believe fear is a great motivator. I believe 12 years, now eight, to prevent a catastrophe is fairly imminent even for a politician. Government does some things well.

No. It’s really not. Most scientists in related fields don’t believe it’s a crisis either. Are you paying attention to what’s going on over at Twitter? It’s undeniable the information the public is being fed is manipulated. It always has been to some extent.

Yes, it is:

Don’t rely mainly/solely on social media to inform yourself about… well… basically anything that actually matters.

Unfortunately way too many people prefer to bury their heads in the sand, because acknowledging a problem would mean that you would actually have to do something about it.

It is just so much more convenient to tell yourself that it is all some huge conspiracy, because that means that you don’t have to change anything and can continue with your life in blissful ignorance.

Anyways… this is all wildly off-topic and I won’t be able to convince you of anything that you don’t want to hear, so I am out.

That’s just a lot of pseudoscientific statistical handwaving debunked long ago. First to believe in climate change you have to believe in climate change and many scientists don’t. The problem is you can’t get a grant or publish a paper saying climate change is an unproven theory.

Bari Weiss is worth listening to. Many of the things the media is telling people are lies sponsored by government. It’s a documented fact.

We are changing things. The per capita carbon footprint in the United States has been dropping for over a decade mostly due to private industry. The government on the other hand is spending trillions changing nothing or actually making things worse. All in the name of reducing climate change.

The days of ‘physical’ are over with. It’s the digital world now. SKYNET IS REAL. No more brick and mortar stores. No more physical copies (boxes), even if you order online.

Sucks as it may, for us old school gamers (and I’m not even old lol), but that is life today.

Just started playing D&D again. DM bought books, used, but he bought them for the players to use. Guess what? They didn’t want to ‘turn pages’ and ‘look at tables,’ they opted for pdf format on a laptop or pc. See. Same thing. Bye bye physical. Hello SKYNET!

Lol just spent over 3 grand for a dell gaming computer and guess what did not come with cd player. Guess if i want a hard copy

Three grand for a Dell? Really? Good Grief. They make USB disc players so it’s all good.
