Soj Necro Fire dmg doesnt work

When you stack fire dmg on a necro and then use Stone Of Jordan, the fire dmg doesnt effect the rest of the elemental dmg as it should.

Don´t know if this bug is because necro usually doesnt deal fire dmg.

Have not tried to stack other “odd” combination, like barb and poison.

Best regards

Poison, cold and physical are the only 3 elements that Necro can use. They don’t have a skill that can deal fire damage, so SoJ won’t work with fire as the main element.

Is that how the devs intend it to be, or just your explanation?

No you 2 didn’t understend what OP want to do.

He wants to stack 140%fire damage and recieve 140% poison damage…

Why not working don’t know

Can confirm. I just tested this myself.

On my Necro…

+40% Fire, and +19% Cold (On the SoJ itself) on his items.

Wearing the SoJ gave the following results.

+19% Physical
+40% Fire
+19% Cold
+19% Poison

Seems it wont buff an element the class doesn’t usually have access to. This has to be a bug though, defeats the purpose of the ring.

I will test on the other classes to see if they have the same issue.

EDIT:

Tested on a few other characters, and it’s the same. I think it’s safe to assume that it’s across the board.

DH - Holy/Poison doesn’t count towards SoJ bonus.
Monk - Poison doesn’t count towards SoJ bonus.
WD - Holy doesn’t count towards SoJ bonus.

This only really matters to Necro’s I guess, as Fire damage has the most options to stack, and it’s the only class that doesn’t use the element.

On a slightly off-topic note:
As of right now on the PTR, you can stack the legacy SoJ with the new one, if anyone was wondering…

imo it should or it should not drop as fire.
