Yes but that dosen’t nececarily mean that D3 will end or die.
I liked it 20 years ago. Now there’s a lot of things that annoy me that other games have done better over the two decades since.
For its time it was great, compare it with modern games? Not really.
Why make posts that are so silly and unrealistic?
Actually, the release of D2R has made me realize some of the QOL things that I didn’t even appreciate before in D3, for example, many shared stash tabs and separate storage for crafting materials, more character slots, and automatic gold pickup. Played d3 season more than ever, collected all ethereals and now climbing the ladders. Fun stuff. Oh yeah, and don’t forget personal loot drops.
90% of players quit after the first two weeks of any given season so…
Some people might check out D2:R to see what the hype is about; others for nostalgia only, and still others for whatever other reason they have… that’s true at all times, for all games. The actual true fans (which is good for the developers to have) will either come back or not leave at all. How long it takes is subjective. So I expect a dip and then a resurgence. D2:R will have an initial spike and then a very slow upwards progression before it sine waves down.
I didn’t know D4 was coming out so soon
OP should be more worried about saving D2R, so that it won’t be dead in a year. Once they start adding Seasonal Themes, rainbow transmogs, power creep- errr balance changes, increased drop rates, etc, the game is going to be hardly recognizable as D2.
New extensions and new games maybe would hurt playerbase, but never game flipping.
How can D3 end in 2 days when it ended 9 years ago?
New World?
Fried mozzarella cheese balls! YW
They got the order right xD.
Neither. Enjoying Path of Exile…some ESO…and Witcher 3 / Torchlight 2 on the switch
are we there yet? DONT MAKE ME PULL THIS CAR OVER!
I like how OP starts a thread and never comes back. If D3 came to an end he might be on the D2R forum now.
PoE
While you get infinite buffs every season to make the game more and more trivialized and idiotic, in PoE they are creating opportunities for dedicated players to challenge themselves more and more, and if necessary some builds are nerfed instead of elevating all others to same level broken.
Maybe we scared OP away
Boy this thread sure aged well
Reading the D2R board just for the schadenfreude is still really entertaining
Get back in that queue!

lol 2 months later…
Spot on right there…
