SM set + gear impale skill 10% buff?

The Shadow Mantle 6-set gives 75,000% damage. Some gear items can "Increase Impale damage by 10% to 15%.

How does the math work? Which of the following is correct?
(assume WD = 2,000)
(WD x 75,000%) + 15% = 1,725,000
WD x 75,015% = 1,500,300
(WD + 15%) X 75,000% = 1,725,000

The impale damage is a multipler to impale damage.
I don’t have the exact formula but it would be whatever your impale damage was doing before multiplied by 1.15 (for the 15% increase) before other damage multipliers.
