What happened, already happened. No further interference needed as it only would make things worse. People will recover if given enough time; ending the Season now, again will not fix anything. If you think current handling of the situation is against the “competitive nature” of this game or “wrong”; you all are welcome to skip this “new” Season which most of you already did anyway.
Plus a full primordial set (with good rolls of course) plus 10K pargon!

Keep in mind that we only get three rollbacks per account, ever. So don’t use them lightly.
It sounds like no one truly lost anything. It was just all transferred to NS. So consider that a rollback could actually cause a loss, whose severity depends on how far back the last account snapshot was.

We shouldn’t have to be eating a rollback then. Many people FAILED to complete the season because of this abrupt unannounced end.

Only for PC players, though, so not an adequate solution. Plenty of console players are currently unable to play season with existing OR new characters. So it’s not just about having a twelve week disadvantage or whatever, it’s about not even being able to get into the game to play with friends and such.

I used 1 rollback in 12/13 years…
I’m aware. Which is why I would rather just see it left ended, rather than be half-resurrected into a mess.

Agree. That’s why I’m not going to use one. We only get three so I plan to use them only in emergencies.
Cosmetics are on a cycle, so pets will come around again.
Additionally, materials are severly capped, meaning that aside from gear, you aren’t really saving anything with a rollback. Rollbacks are almost never worth it.

I just checked and US is now restored to scratch beginning. Meaning nothing is complete. I did use my toons for mules so I do have their gear and received 3 haedrigs gifts in the mail. Not worth starting all over again. I think it’s a waste of time from them to do the restore. Start season 34 already.

I didn’t say season journey. I did that on day two. I mean the conquests. Every season I save that for after my gr150 push.

There have been a few that claim the restore of the rollback put back everything and didn’t cap it. But I don’t know how accurate that is.
I agree, I salvaged my primal trifecta weapon by accident on 1/4. I looked at rollback page they said only 500 each material would be kept so I just let it slide not worth losing all the mats.

Europe lost all paragon from Season 33.
both Asia and Europe also lost the entire stash from S33.
Blizzard screwed up real bad.
Perhaps some dumb noob hit the wrong button or ticked a software box to end season as a prank.
Blizzard totally blew up the end of Season 33.
I am close to never playing any blizzard games because of this.
I know if I quit, it won’t hurt blizzard at all.
I am so pissed at Blizzard for losing my paragon in Europe.

Don’t love this solution, but would be happy to give it the original buffs from season 28 in addition to whatever the season theme is. That could be a lot of fun.
Maybe when Blizzard realises they lost players due to this incident, they send vouchers for 70% off D4 expansion packs to atone their mistakes

Only my DH came back as Seasonal, and I’ve already cleaned my mailbox, so I’ll just wait for S34.
This is a good chance for me to play Stalker2 now.

"…and I will spread the word…that a lot of hard work building up your toon is laughed at by Blizzard; and if they do screw up, their answer will be to use a ‘roll back’ OH! but it bites into the ability to use a roll back in the future for real problems.
So, why am I supposed to use a roll back that you only get to use 3 for your account in a lifetime?
You should give a 4th lifetime roll back for this embarrassment, or the quote of that other player will ring true:
