Elaborate, please. What are you saying here? I have not noticed any Bugs.
There are no soul shards in non-season on EU servers; it’s just that if a player hasn’t used their character after the season ends, their in-game profile will display the soul shards.
When the player uses their character, they won’t have the soul shards, and their profile will be updated without them.

Read my comment again. It’s just that they haven’t connected with those characters.
I have a friend who hasn’t logged in with these characters since the end of the season, so the shards are showing up on his profile.
Once he logs in, he won’t have the shards, and his profile will update, without shards.

Anyone can read your comment some 1000 times. In theory, your theory is flawless 
But, you should consider 2 minor things.
First, when you check leaderboard score, you should check “View hero details” - not “View profile”. With that, you see setup that player use to get leaderboard score .
Second, again go to leaderboard page.
Check crusader leaderboard.
Now, we can detect other minor problem.
Player score position No1 on crusader leaderboard, some 22 hours AFTER season ended. “View hero details” - and - there is still soul shards in his weapon and his helm (Cpt America setup).

I think it’s you that need to read some comments here again, cause it obvious that you don’t understand how to check the setup players use for their clears on the leaderboard lol.

True number one on the solo crusader (GabOFF) has a clear on December 1st that shows Soul shards in weapon and helmet. I lost all shards, equipped and in stash, that I hadn’t already salvaged. Didn’t really need the gems from salvaged shards in non season.
Also on the current leaderboard a 2 player clear on 5th place, Mercyy7 (Crusader) shows soul shards on a Dec. 1st clear.

Just checked second team with GabOFF and mercyy7 that clear shows November 30 9 PM, both crusaders have soul shards.
Shards on non season is probably the greatest thing ever. Make something completely irrelevant slightly fun. It was a good day of fun 150s with a couple of lovely horses on NS. Can’t wait to break all LB’s after next soulshard season.

So It seems that it was a ladder bug. It happened before that ladders didn’t record the results at the moment it was completed. Also profiles of this people show the batlle tag change (different names in personal data and ladder)

I think that’s taken from a Nintendo based account, because I see Soul shards and a Sanctified weapon.
