I was running Nephalem Rifts while having gold find gear equipped, which includes the Level 50 Boon of the Hoarder gem.
Ordinarily, this would give be plenty of gold for empowered Greater Rifts.
I noticed, however, that when I activated a shrine and got my Shadow Clone, any monsters killed by the Shadow Clone does not provide the usual explosion of gold.
This became totally apparent when I use a Shield Shrine and allow the Shadow Clone to do all the killing in the immediate area. No gold dropped, other than what is considered normal…
