Selected seasonal character then playing campaign mode?

Ok. I’m a returning player after a very long time. I had to make a new account, so bought the game again. No, I wasn’t banned.

I selected seasonal mode, and wanted to refresh my memory on the campaign, so been playing that for 20 plus lvls. I don’t really see any events happen, or anything that stands out that has special rewards so far as I can tell. Do I have to do adventure mode to actually participate in the special events/rewards? I was under the impression, I could do either.

Yes, the season journey is done in Adventure Mode. It is automatically unlocked in Seasons, so you don’t have to complete the Campaign first. However, once Season ends and your character becomes non-season, you will be locked out of Adventure Mode until you complete the campaign.

Ok, thanks. This season is late on I hear. I’m just continuing on in campaign. If I want to do adventure mode, then will with my character.

There’s likely to be at least 3-4 weeks of this season left.
That’s more than enough to fully complete the Season Journey.
