Any guesses of what the next seasonal theme will be? I’ll go with soul shards. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking. Or Ethereals. Just NOT double goblins or anything stupid like that. And enough with anything to do with the cube. The necros are the only ones that most benefit.

Aside from double goblins, which I hope isn’t part of the rotation, it seems Tempests is all that’s left in the rotation.

For some reason I don’t remember whether I liked it or not. Is this the buff that zdps builds did 150 GRs and said it worked as intended? I hope not.
I hope Tempest is out of the rotation, permanently. I don’t want to put myself through that just to get some cosmetics that I have missed. I want either stronger Altar of Rites to be back or capped Paragon level. Why yes, both of them still sound better than Tempest.
I don’t believe in the possibility of double goblins, free RoRG, free LoD, the “old good” Altar and capped paragon. Have no idea about Tempest, missed that season. People say it was visually horrible.
So, since the full cycle of themes is complete, it should be be Soul Shards again.
UPD Just watched an old video with Gr 150 on DH GoD, season 21 ( Trials of the Tempests ) - it doesn’t seem so bad.
I just looked up the Tempest theme. I took a several year break from D3 and missed it the first time.
For me it would be a horrible theme. Really seems to lack that punch to separate it from
Eternal. It does seem like the pool of seasonal themes to recycle is a bit small. Having the same one too often would lead to burn out that no one wants.
If it is the season theme it sure goes a long way to making me think some are trying to push players to D4.
Only tempests wasn’t on repeat. Hope no paragon cap. Doubt that it will be free RorG, free LoN and goblins. Very litlle chance that it can be full power altar or full XP nightmares.
I hope it is the Paragon Cap season so that I can get #1 leaderboards GRs
Na, actually worse, Season of audio/visual vomit and free paragon allocation/cap are the only themes left that is not RoRG/LoN or Jay Wilson themed.

I’m not even a big paragon farmer, but losing that sense of guaranteed progression after a single day of playing just completely demotivated me last time, and will likely do the same again.
Asd for the season of “random crap gooo!” yeah i’m not looking forward to one-shotting myself on HC when the lightning breath procs on an off-screen spinner demon again…

d4 just finished their goblin event so my guess will be double goblin season theme 
If it is Tempest, they could always double up the themes, as with a couple of the seasons on repeat.
Mix it up a little. You don’t just have to have one theme.
Pretty sure ethereals was last season
Crucibles was last season.
I’m hoping we gonna get Soul Shard next season again; however they usually line that season up with New Year…
my guess is Season of Nightmares (S17)
all Seasonal players will benefit from the Set bonus provided by Legacy of Nightmares
I hope they mix this with Season of Greed (S14) double goblins.
Or most like people are saying Trials of the Tempests (S21). But that is very similar to current season so my guess is they might do that for season 37.
Both are very lame if you ask me. All i want is soul shards, ethereals, sanctified items. For me everything else is average fun.
lol, don’t kid yourself buddy. Yes a lot of the guys that are on top of leaderboards are either botting or account sharing (not all though) but they are still very skilled players on top of that. You are not touching that #1 spot even on equal terms.
