I might play D4 today for 30 mins.
Baskenator doesn’t know how to use a WD, but fun video.
He’s look like me with a monk.
TinneOnnMuin is a well know player about that, nothing new. Enjoy
Sandro193 and Jexter, don’t know these players
I don’t know a thing about Jexter. Like I said, I’m not a Witch Doctor player. And Witch Doctors really aren’t flooding the leaderboards by the time I call it a night on the Season Start.
But I can state that Sandro193 is one of the best Season Start DHs out there, if not the best SSF Season Start DH. I keep stats on all the season starts and his name is constantly in the top. Granted, the video he has isn’t one of his best runs, but it’s the same strategy that he runs and sometimes the RNG just hits you differently.
My point is, if you don’t know how to use a class correctly, your progression will be slower.
I’m currently trying to do the “Sprinter” conquest, with a monk (a class I don’t know and hate, but that’s another story), it’s hell.
Leveling isn’t nearly as difficult as Sprinter though. For the most part, you’re going to have your basic leveling build set by Level 40, which, as of the introduction of the Altar of Rites, takes no time to get to.
Really what separates a 1-hour Level 70 from a 3-hour Level 70 is downtime. And the same can also be applied to Sprinter in a way. It’s only a few seconds here and a few seconds there, and those seconds add up, and they add up quickly.
Strix you got videos of your 1-70 runs?
…and did Tinne switch over to D4?
I’m still around.
Less time in D3 though, I’ve played some D4 each season, and I’ve also been playing a few other games in between D3/D4 seasons.
I do 100% achieves every D3 season, after that I may or may not keep playing depending on season theme. Soul Shards and Ethereals were fun for me so I played to 2k paragon and pushed 150s on all the wizard sets (except Vyr’s). Cube season wasn’t too exciting to me, I skipped out on that after 100% achieves.
Good to see you, Tinne. Long time.
Which games have you been playing? I’ve been playing Dad, bills, Sudoku, and paycheck. A little Last Epoch on the side.
I have also been playing those games! I play a lot of trucks. And cars. And trains.
I’ve also got God of War on the go right now. So I guess even more playing dad
Just curious. Why do you keep referencing D4 in D3 forums?
I haven’t flagged you, but almost all of your posts are off-topic.
haiku can only have 17 or less syllables…
I have found a small discussion over Reddit that links a few resources including a chart for time records. According to that thread, Monk and DH are the top pick for such challenge.

Because they couldn’t take my honesty and critique about the game and our work in D4 forums and banned me for 100 years. Here i can express myself fully as we aren’t fun sponges, salty or snowflakes. Nor do we care more for other games.
Just finished VoH content!
Long campaign with plenty enough content left untouched despite entering Torment levels already and gearing in mostly ancestral gear. Nuff said!
Krastifari is… an acquired taste.
You’re not wrong, near-100% of his posts are non sequitur. At the same time though, his posts don’t usually contain “offensive” content so I don’t really think he’s “problematic.”
Just quirky.
@ BehindTimes:
I noticed in your guide that you only have DH with popping the cache. However, I remember you having a vid of you do a run through on DH starting in the eternal woods. You would end that zone at level 10 I think within 4 to 6 mins. My T6 Blades tests have gone poorly mostly due to mobs just not cooperating and following me to the blades. I tried using entangling shot and caltrops to keep them engage during the drag to the blades. However, the dudes who split in half on death and some skeletons decide to not follow and end up doing their own thing. I can’t recall if you used cache in that run through vid or not.
In a lot of his videos it’s quicker to start out with a Necro, and go for the cube with that on T1 to T3 or 4. Using corpse explosion, you’ll be around level 18 when you get to the cube and can a Zoltun Kulle Bounty for the gems you need to lower the item requirement and then go DH with a Level 70 weapon.
But if you’re skilled enough, you start off with a DH and run one set of T2 Bounties for gold and materials and level up from there. You’ll be around level 24 when you complete the bounties.
(I’m assuming you’re using your Challenge Cache).
As KillerProc stated, for typical seasons, definitely use a Necro to start out with if you can. This Season though, you can just run directly to the Magic Rock, so won’t have to worry about making it to 18.
As far as the Eternal Woods approach, I’d consider it obsolete now. With the Blades, you really only need to get your DH to Level 12. And every class can hit Level 7 in roughly 30 seconds just using Halls of Agony 3. (Halls of Agony 3 gives vastly more XP than TotFB, and also has fewer enemies, so easier for a DH who doesn’t get AoE attacks until Bolas at Level 11).
If it’s still too difficult, and you don’t have a Necro available, I’d probably just get a Witch Doctor or Wizard to 18 and swap over to your DH after.
I’m not judging here, neither saying they are nor they aren’t.
Blizzard provided an “It’s off-topic” option for the private flagging. So at least someone there might’ve thought such behaviour could be considered …
