Season 23 | The Disciples of Sanctuary | Has Ended

You intentionally forgot to add “…gets buffed AND then nerfed” ?

Because that’s what happened to WD’s and to some degree Barbs. Even DH got nerfed.

But guess what? People WERE constructive and still buffed AND then nerfed. See the problem now?

Yeah, don’t make us go Harold & Kumar and burn this Burger Shack down. We want a Liter of Cola stat.

Why do you guys hate the Witch Doctor seriously wtf man. Since the First PTR note EVERYONE has said the Witch Doctor nerf was totally unfair and uncalled for and this is how you guys listen is to totally ignore every single piece of feedback about it? You are totally destroying the last viable build of the entire class. :man_shrugging:

So Blizzard loves only Necro and Mages. They hate WitchDoctors and don’t like others. Sad story

It would be interesting to have statistics on

  • played classes
  • played sets + LON (for each class).

thx for listening.

now just give us a theme! even if its an old one pls

Revert Etched Sigil back.

Honestly dont know why it was changed or who thought it was a good idea. Maybe a nerf to a particular build? Changing it from any spender to exclusively twister is one of the most mind-boggling decisions ever. Its exactly the opposite of promoting build diversity by taking a really cool item and Pidgeon-holing it into something boring.

Don’t feed the troll, Shivan. Swampland Waders have at least a legendary affix. It’s just not a very good legendary affix - at least for now.

And that is a wasted affix for any class that isn’t a WD. The Waders were being used for their +20% elemental damage, despite the WD affix not because of it. The change to Blackthorne’s means non-WDs that want the elemental damage for their LOD builds don’t have to waste an affix any more.

When’s the last time you played (checks notes) sacrifice? And who are you calling a troll?

It is also one less reason to play a witch doctor since you won’t need one to pants upgrade.

Yeah, some other class can get them to drop (my first barbarian did, in fact) but there’s a pattern of “witch lives matter… except they don’t.”

Nobody actually played WD to get those pants. Any class that needed it just created a level 1 WD and upgraded level 70 pants until they got one. After that, that WD would never be touched again. So saying there’s one less reason to play is just a strawman.

Doesn’t make it any less true.

It does. Making Blackthorne’s roll elemental damage is an welcome change and it makes no difference in the number of WD players.

Yes…and? What’s your point, Meteor? Has nothing to do with my point. My point was Swampland Waders are aren’t useless. They still have one of two items that roll +% elemental damage on Legs, and the affix may be good again someday…you know, hopefully. Sacrifice builds used to be a thing. A long time ago.

They said they would adjust the wizard. They adjusted the wizard. Here people are moping about other classes. Here we have a reworked wizard that can still be walked around in. My point is that people complain about irrelevant things doesn’t help with Blizzard not listening to it’s consumer base about changes.

That the elemental damage affix on Swampland Waders was useful to any class that needed them for a LOD build and the WD-specific affix was a waste to anything that wasn’t a WD. Not only that, for non-INT classes they had to rely on re-rolling the INT to their main stat, so it was even harder to find a set with useful affixes. Blackthorne’s can now drop with class-appropriate main stat, VIT and All Res, and that leaves you the option of re-rolling a secondary.

Oh, so your point is…they have basically inferior to Blackthorne’s in every way now. Well, that’s true enough. Maybe someday Sacrifice will return to it’s former glory. I wonder what exactly it needs.

For non-WDs, yes, but WDs now have two sets of pants that can grant them elemental bonuses.
