Season 21 - Trials of Tempests - July Hotfix Update

After the Fiasco that was the Diablo Immortal reveal, Diablo had 1 last chance as a franchise to redeem itself:

Now more than ever, players have been returning to Diablo 3 due to stay at home orders to get away from the pandemic and tragic world events ongoing around the globe.

A once beloved franchise, now with a fraction of it’s old playerbase, finally had an external factor driving players to return to the game.

This is a playerbase that still has not forgiven Blizzard for their Diablo Immortal reveal fiasco, and what do they find when they finally hit that “Install” button on Diablo 3 again for the first time in what is likely several years?

An absolute fiasco of a season.

Blizzard you have lost your most loyal fanbase’s trust. You made your most devout fans, the ones who bother coming IN-PERSON, cash out of pocket, BOO you live on stage for one of the most spectacular fails ever seen in a convention for the past decade, or possibly ever, in all of modern history. Instead of trying to regain your playerbase’s trust, you’ve lost it.

As the sentiment of the others in this thread, as a loyal diablo fan, and a competitive diablo player, I will follow the trend set by the others. If you will not listen to our feedback on these forums, we will speak with our actions. Diablo 3 will be uninstalled, I do not play any other Blizzard games, Battle.net will be uninstalled, and you have lost my business and my recommendations to friends.

If you cannot hear our feedback, then watch our actions. Watch as your playerbase dwindles, and your fanbase dies.

This seasonal theme needs to be addressed, or even completely removed. It is a poor excuse of a gameplay mechanic and only detracts from the game. We have consistantly asked for it to be changed or addressed, and these suggestions have fallen on deaf ears.

And instead of admitting your mistake and fixing the mistakes or accepting our suggestions, you send your poor community managers to tell us this was “INTENDED?!”

None of us buy your lies. The way Blizzard is handling this situation speaks multitudes. You lost our trust, ignore our feedback, and lie to our faces. You playerbase is rightfully livid. And soon, that playerbase will cease to exist.
