Ok so zero buffs to frenzy set. It is thus worthless for season 20 and whirlwind is the way to go. Thanks for clearing that out.

Frenzy set is garbage. WW is rock solid last-man-standing and has more damage. We don’t need a squish build for barb that can’t even keep wotb up (woopsi, zodiac doesn’t work with frenzy biig surprise).

I don’t know if it’ll be worthless, but…
Even before the PTR everyone already pointed out that the Fear mechanic was bad for a build dependent on melee attacks.
Then they doubled down on it and added Freeze, which was better, but still had the problem of being a hard CC.
And now they tripled down on it by adding Stun, which again, makes it slightly better, but still suffers from being a hard CC.
The set needs the double damage from the 2-piece bonus, but this bonus will be disabled pretty quickly by the Stuns from Frenzy.
And then you look at the defense side of this set:
You’ll have no DR from the set at the start of a fight, and you’ll probably easily lose it while moving between packs.
No easy way to get perma-wrath or ignore pain without sacrificing damage, which besides being a hit to our defense, also leaves us vulnerable to CC.
So we’re left with a set with poor defense AND lacking in damage to be competitive.
Sure, I can see someone doing GR140+ with a lot of fishing/luck, but for us common mortals, this set will probably play like a glassy IK HotA.

My point wasn’t that the set needed to be buffed to where everyone would be soloing GR140+, my point is that while dedicated players might be able to clear GR140+ with it, for the average player, the lack of defense on the set will probably make it feel pretty weak compared to IK HotA, which has less damage potential.

They could up the bonus set to 1500-2000% in this case it would be a good choice in solo for farming para but in reality with only 1000% he is so weak compare to WW.
Plus with the hard cc condition for 2P you will lose it everytime because frenzy stun remove the froozen by slow in this case you got a perma 2P bonus with bane of trap.
Actually with this setup i don’t see why people would play frenzy in solo WW is much better and for group crusader is better for BK.
They fail in all point for this patch note.

I was very happy with season 19 theme and the 2 new sets for monk and sader.
After reading the latest patch update and tweaks to the new sets of S20 I got disappointed… I had higher expectations to be honest. And makes me wonder are the ones who worked on S19 are the same who are doing S20 ? Just curious to know.
