I appreciate the vote. But, no thank you. Too much responsibility I think. (I’m retired and wish to stay that way. But, I’ll help, when I can).
Good to hear.
Sorry to hear that.
And of course you know: You can switch to any Region you want to play on.
Note: If you continue to have technical issues, uninstall the Blizzard App again. Make sure all Blizzard Entertainment and Battle․net folders have been deleted from your hard drives. DO NOT uninstall your Blizzard games.
I used to run the games using the game shortcut. This opens the Blizzard App anyway. I began having issues. I uninstalled the Blizzard App. This is when I noticed: I had Blizzard Entertainment and Battle․net folders in my Program Files (x86) folder, my ProgramData folder and each of my individual Blizzard games installation folders.
Before reinstalling the Blizzard App, I deleted all the Blizzard Entertainment and Battle․net folders I could find. Only then did I reinstall the Blizzard App. From there I used the App Options to locate my Blizzard games, so I didn’t have to reinstall them too. It was at this point that I began using the Blizzard App shortcut to run my games instead of the individual games shortcut and have had no issues since.
Good luck!

They record, but only for the five most recent seasons. This was to par down the database so the website and armory remained functional. In an ideal world they’d have a downloadable database and an app with which to view the data, but for a game this old I wouldn’t expect such a thing.
It would still be proper to have that info show up in the Battle.net app though. It shows up in mine. Perhaps you are using the older Battle.net app layout and it’s hidden in the scrolling news section and needs to be scrolled to. Here’s my layout, which shows the Season 20 end date.
That was a reference to another problem

Thanks for you help though will check the layout for the news part
Ah, thanks for the info. If I had to wager a guess, I’d say the issue was in the Battle.net backend API that serves both the game and the website. Who knows what was going on that caused the problem. Thankfully it’s over, or we hope it is, though obviously from Boubou’s test only records created after the issue was fixed are saved.
Good luck!
If you directly edit the URL, all 20 seasons of leaderboards are still accessible via the website. My guess is that it’s just a cached version and those pages aren’t updated from the database anymore. That generally won’t matter too much since those leaderboards don’t change anymore, but I guess maybe if someone changed their battletag it wouldn’t be reflected in the older boards, but would be reflected in the ones that still actively update from the database?
E.g.
Season 4 solo Hardcore wizard leaderboard: Wizard: Overall (Hardcore) - Rankings - Diablo III
Season 9 achievement leaderboard: Seasonal Achievement Score - Rankings - Diablo III
Season 5 Speed Racer leaderboard: Speed Racer - Rankings - Diablo III
(I totally didn’t pick leaderboards I ranked on to use as examples. Nope, no idea where you would get such an idea )

You’ll notice that the only version of the launcher that has the Season 20 Ending splash advert on it is for English (US). Something as important as this should feature on every single language option, not just American.
Also, when displaying the English (US) version, clicking on that Season 20 Ending splash advert takes me to…

i.e. the Season 20 Starting article. That’s because there hasn’t been a “Season Ending Soon” article published since the end of Season 14, so there’s nothing valid for that splash to link to.

Except that the first thing you see when you click on that link, even though the title is Season 20 Now Live, is:
UPDATE JUNE 8TH - Season 20 will be ending on June 21st. See post for exact times for each region.
And the splash screen itself says:
20
Season Ending Soon
Which is only there if you have the launcher set to American…

Sadly the EU part of Blizzard doesn’t seem to update much at all. Their S20 start blog doesn’t contain the notice about the end date like US English version does.

TW website has no “season is ending” in the seasonal blog of S20, and S19,…
S19 is still online; no “has ended” message at all.
Not bother to scroll down for S18.
