So June works for me as well (20th of Jun would be perfect for me). Timing is good to not go to the sea, and spend whole vacation playing Diablo 4… I will have to start saving money for my wife, to bribe her 
so she does not get angry too much.
That is if we get more info about anti-cheat policy before release. If that happens soon I am preordering Ultimate Edition even if I dont care about cosmetics.
Blizzard please give us more info about improved anti-cheat approach and systems.
Otherwise whole always online game with no offline mode makes no sense at all…
You said that Diablo 3 will be always online game only because of security and anti-cheating features.
Even if it’s datamined, I kind of expect a delay somewhere lowkey.
I dont because they are about to give us release date after running alpha and beta tests already. They know exactly what needs fixing at least for all major issues / feedback.

So trading in high end rares will be the hot trade items for folks to trade for and put a legendary power on. I bet that gets a lot of scrutiny from the folks that want trading.

Dang it runes are no more. 
I wonder if the speed race mentality is a thing of the past for D4 as much of the game appears to be about the world and lore. No more GR fishers. No more blowing past everything.
I am almost sure they will introduce them again for the future season, in some shape and form.
You could be correct as it appears that they will use seasons to introduce the new content.
Damn that slightly bites. Well ifever they do add runes/runewords, I hope it’s the cause and effect mechanic that was initially shown only greatly expanded upon (same with mercenaries/followers).
D4 is just one endless, repeated, disappointment these days 
Maybe they should rename the game to Paragon.
I sure hope so. Well, as long as that shape and form is the one they talked about at announcement. The “runewords” easily seemed like the best system they have shown for D4.

A monday release? If that is true perhaps it is the preorder bonus and everyone else is unlocked that friday.

I had same initial tought. But then I check and saw that Dragonflight also released on Monday.
Well cant take a full week off. I like Friday releases the most

So reportedly anti-cheating was one of the questions covered during the interviews with the content creators. They did not give straight forward answer but did say they put a lot of work into it.
Outside of the Garrison issue in WoD, I’ve never had an issue with taking time off for a release. Always planned a week around WoW laumches and had a great time. Even WoD, that was cleared up in a day or two.

Odddly enough, none of the 2 dozen previews ive read today seemed to think that detracted from the game or the customization. Obviously it would add to it, but unlike that certain group that will never be happy, everyone seems to be up on D4.
