how about currency for possible anni is selling a torch to a vendor? Would also keep the value of torches high, instead of those being sold for low value runes in mid - end season. Plus would keep farming keys and torches worthwile, after getting a torch. (But better get a confirmation for selling your GG torch to a vendor by accident)
if we change the way daiblo clone is spawned it will change a core game mechanic and i am against those so we have to leave it selling SoJs

no i indeed agree that unique/set shouldnāt be able to spawn Dclone , it would simply cause way too many problems , most of which were already stated (make people do quick runs to sell random unique , make people sell uniques instead of giving them away etcā¦)

contrary to torch you are guaranteed to have +1 ALL skill afterall , torch is a class skills only , so i do think itās fair for it to be harder to get.
Especially considering that with the shared stash you can be āset for lifeā as soon as you only get 1 anni. (unless you want to min-max for some more resist/stat if you have a bad roll or want 1 per character even without shared stash)
so yea , 1 to 2 (or more) soj seem like a fair price.
Iāve traded HR for a crappy stat storch just to have the +3. I cared less about the other stats.

Giving free stuff is a very detrimental behaviour to new players, it scraps the normal progression of a player, it devoids them of the satisfying impact of finding a unique and creates beggars, it also robs casual players of Finding something of value when a unique drops because its worth nothing if bigfish constantly give them for free

Well There is also the option that any unique ring have a set spawn chance, SOJ has 35% chance for everyone you sell Bul-kathos 30%, Natures peace 25%, wisp/carrion 20%, Raven dwarf 10%, and those lovely Manalds and Nagels that everyone usually has a ton of 5%. That way your still only basing off the rings and they only need the value and your not stuck just selling 1 ring to spawn an event.

I kinda like it. There are lots of enemy types that are better at dropping jewelry, gives a good reason to farm them specifically, rather than just ZZZ baalrunsā¦

Uhh nope, the only drop type buff in the game is countess and ghosts for runes
Otherwise everybody is as likely to drop certain item types, you canāt target farm specific item types

Itās not that cows are better at dropping ring, cows are better at dropping items in general

The whole Idea is that the rings arenāt super easy to find, the SOJ is what you used to have to sell to get the pandemonium event. It also takes up 1 cubicle item slot so therefore if you had 10-15 in your stash it would not take up tons of room so if you bring 20 manaldās into a game and sell them spawn the clone its taking 20 rings it probably took you a pretty good amount of time to find that werenāt what you wanted. To kill diablo and get your pretty little charm. We all know people farm multiples trying to get perfect. I just think it should feel the same without costing a piece that would be part of most builds in the ring slot the SOJ. Just an opinion.
im not sure if this post is created by someone who is new to diablo 2 but even if they change it like that (which will never happen), 95% of all people facing dclone wouldnt even be able to beat him. im not sure if u know what a pain in the a** this dude is. not worth talking about. t/c pls

I still think the soj method will work with some small adjustments.

Because Dclone mechanic is based on duped soj, so removing duping means a change to that mechanic and you are against changes to game mechanics
