Dear Blizzard Diablo III Team,
My name is LEO, a 10+ year loyal Diablo III PC player. I purchased the Xbox version of Diablo III several years ago, hoping to enjoy the game on console with a controller. However, I have never been able to play it at all due to the complete lack of official Chinese language support (both Simplified and Traditional Chinese).
I am writing on behalf of a large number of Chinese Xbox Diablo III players who share the same frustration:
-
We have owned the Xbox copy for years, but the language barrier makes the game unplayable. We cannot understand skill descriptions, item stats, quest dialogues, or lore content.
-
Chinese localization already exists on PC and Nintendo Switch versions, so adapting these assets to the Xbox platform would not require extensive new development.
-
We also request in-game controller button macro support (like the PC version) to reduce repetitive inputs, prevent controller wear, and restore the fun and relaxing gameplay experience.
-
Additionally, we hope to see Xbox Play Anywhere (XPA) support to sync progress seamlessly between PC and Xbox.
As a long-time fan who has supported the Diablo franchise for over a decade, I sincerely ask you to prioritize these quality-of-life updates for the Xbox version. Thousands of Chinese players have bought the game but cannot enjoy it—we just want to experience Sanctuary in our native language, just like players on other platforms.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Best regards,
LEO
Longtime Diablo III/IV PC & Xbox Player
