Raxx, Quin69, Rich quit D:immoral. They are all quitting

Lost Ark without P2W would be a much better game than D:I.
With P2W it is still a better game than D:I, but they also both suck because of it.

Greed killed it.
Heck, I am a fan of grinding out caps in a spreadsheet. JRPGs can be fun.
Just without P2W around to ruin the beautiful spreadsheet with ads, and predatory design elements pushing you toward the Buy buttons.

Not at all. LA is 100% F2P game. You can be on the level of top 1% players as F2P if you invest the time and know the game. To be on the level of 0.1% you have to flip on the AH which is kind of a cheat, just as putting real money in.

Copium should be made illegal. It seems to be spreading like wildfire.

Which does not change whether a game is P2W or not. Can you buy progression/advantages. If yes, it is P2W. Regardless of anything else.
The only way you can be in the top 1% of players is if your server apparently has less than 1% mega whales, making you be at the top of the F2P population.
That is true in D:I as well.

Not me, the DI fans thinking LA is P2W.

 :hotsprings:

Agree. A D3 expansion with a new class (Amazon, Druid… whatever) for a reasonable $19.99 would be a much better way to treat fans. I’d definitely buy it. And they’ll make more money that way.

The combat in D3 is simply unmatched by any other isometric ARPG out there.

Story aside, I’d still play D3 simply for the combat satisfaction. Nothing beats pulling all mobs together and explode them all down.

They could also raise level cap, introduce new content, class, etc…

D3 has a really good core code for an ARPG. Making expansions make more sense than a stupid mobile scam.

Dude, Lost Ark is now all bot and no player LMAO.

And then release another Immortal video.

There is no point in raising the level cap right now when we have the somewhat infinite paragon scaling. Unless you bring in new spells that unlock after 70 or be able to choose another passive cause the stats per level are pretty insignificant once you get some paragon stats going.

Did you actually watch the video? He is basically showing that doing events once and then waiting a week to claim them is more efficient and fun as playing the game for him … Not really a great argument he considers the free to lose play as engaging. :stuck_out_tongue:

Move on from DI to an even more egregious monetized pile if garbafe with crypto, NFTs, and a new pat $8 to bypass queues.

Plus raxx is still on DI.

are you relativizing?

Because I was hoping he to quit for real and stop making DI contents.

Give it a few more weeks when overall hype dies off on both sides, unless release in Asia will blow up the bonfire again. :stuck_out_tongue: Though I suspect the movement against predatory game design will go on bit longer especially combined with gambling, just it will focus less on just D:I.

Must be Stockholm syndrome.

That Pay to Bypass queue thing is just amazing…

Maybe they should start to do daily maintenance. Pay if you want to bypass it.
The P2W game design just has endless possibilities.

I guess another way to get out of this entire P2W mess is when some of them get the “brilliant “ idea to Pay to Bypass P2W, and they accidentally reinvent Buy to Play.

I’ve seen it before in other gamed, but saw a thread on another forum about that game this morning. Thought it was rich using a streamer who left DI for that one as if that streamer has any credibility.

Nope. Just poking holes.

It isn’t exactly holes.
Speaking of holes, two shots in the head is worse than 1 shot in the head, but both are so bad that the difference become somewhat less important.

D:I does not somehow become better, or even just less bad, because Ni No Kuni is around. Even though Ni No Kuni definitely seems to be a new level of terrible, in both P2W and gameplay (a shame really, the two normal games in the series were decent).

Just saying, the OPis trying to use streamers as an example of having enough, when one never left, and the other finds a game just as bad or worse to be a viable option. Not to mention none of them warned their audience about the P2W pitfalls prior to the games launch despite it being known.

Trying to use uncredible sources as some sort of basis for anything is just wrong. Not to mention these guys do whatever for the views. What they do can hardly be considered newsworthy IMO.

I don’t know if any of those three did, but there was plenty of P2W warnings going around before release too.

Sure I made fun of that earlier in the thread too. I don’t know if he criticize that game too, but if he somehow thinks NNK is fine, then he has no credibility.

This has been mentioned a few times. Do we know that he didn’t leave the game? Uploading an older video after stopping would not exactly mean he returned.
But if he did say he was stopping, and then returned, maybe he is one of Bravatas alts

Ye it’s sad they wasted so much time and resources to develop the worst Diablo game ever.
