I’m not a new player, but I am new to Wizard. I am using skills that are not “targeted” but just go out a certain distance and stop. Currently Ray of Frost and Frozen Orb, but there are other skills that behave the same way. There are also passive skills and gem(s) that give damage bonuses based on distance, so it would be useful to know the range of my skills.
What is the max range of Ray of Frost?
I’m not a Wizard. In general, the visual of the skill usually indicates the range in most cases.
For those have no visual effect, this picture should be useful:
The waypoint in town is roughly 10 yards in radius.
It is, indeed, useful to know that 15 yards is less than the diameter of the way-point. I can guesstimate other distances bases on that, and the range marks in the image.
It would also be useful to know how Ray of Frost and Frozen Orb would look on this grid.
