i used to play diablo 3 so long ago, there wasnt any expansion, so i only have regular diablo 3, what am i supposed to buy to get complete version? because it says i cannot buy the eternal collection

If you already have D3, you can buy RoS and Necro DLC. If you buy it as a bundle, I think you get a discount that shows up after putting it in the cart. Just make sure you are logged in to the account with the D3 license.

It is because Eternal Edition contains the basic D3 which you already have.
You just need to buy Reaper of Souls expansion.
Necro pack requires RoS expansion, but it is optional.
