Basically using a zbarb to bring packs together and letting the seasonal effect wipe them out via area damage.
That was the test.
He got a 12 minute 12 seconds clearance…
This is even worse than S19.
I’m personally not a fan of letting these events clear the rift - I think it takes away from the sense of accomplishment and adds even more RNG to an already RNG overloaded end-game.
Glad I got my fill in S20!

The bug is that the season theme scales with AD. Rob’s zBarb is running 200% AD.
That’s why this wasn’t discovered running 4-man. No one is running AD in meta.
According to the new patch notes, Blizzard knows about the interaction between area damage and the seasonal effects and stated that it will be removed prior to S21.

which is a shame really
without any scaling it is straight up useless, cant even kill low GR mobs…
maybe it shouldnt scale so well, but it needed scaling of some sort.
Maybe they should just leave it as is and rebrand the S21 Theme: “Season of the zdps” 
Rob has now done it without any AD.
