GR112 was the equivalent of like GR142. So if you factor in the missing 7x damage bonus, we’re looking at roughly ~GR124 on the PTR.
It’s about a 18GR nerf.
The cool part of it though, the boss didn’t take 4 minutes. The boss goes down in roughly 100 seconds. So it feels like old school UE6 Hungering Arrow.
I say we ask for the following:
Raise the pierce cap to 4.
Raise the GoD6 bonus to 40,000%.
This will balance Bolas and Grenades, it will help all three skills get to upper GR130s @ 5k paragon.
Personally, if they’re that concerned about Missile Dampener and it’s interaction with GoD, the easiest solution is to remove MD from the game. It’s about the rarest affix anyway, and so most wouldn’t even notice it was out of the rotation.

I just don’t understand why they would implement such a drastic nerf for something as small as MD.
They’re cutting an entire arm off to address a split nail.
Sure there are some 150 clears in season and non season but for most players, say a guy like me with 3k paragon and 133 top clear in nonseason, it just felt like GoD was doing what other classes do on a regular basis.
I’m just not sure what they’re comparing our class to to nerf so heavy handedly.
What I mean, is maybe this brings GoD down to our other sets level, but our other sets’ level is well below what other classes do.
Why give us a taste of the power of other classes only to snatch it away and put our class back in the basement?
What really breaks my heart with this really is just the fact that they’re essentially destroying a build that is our latest build. it feels so unfair. Aside from ZDH…No other build (imo) compares to GoD. My only other build I enjoyed pushing with was Impale and even with the buff it’s still lackluster.
They could very well had buffed Missile Dampening in some form for the pierces not to work against it so effectively but they’re choosing to nerf GoD instead. Rumor was they were always going to nerf GoD come S23 but this is kinda crazy. Bliz is so lost…
Why would they destroy our pride n joy like this? =(
Hell…Also, is it really so hard for Bliz to bring other builds, items, abilities, sets/bonuses, skills/runes, passives in line with others? A lot of this game is completely wasted and basically just fillers at this point.
And after the season, our zDH goes bye-bye too. That fourth cube slot really gave the zdh what it needed but take the fourth cube slot away and I’m not sure we’d even make it into speed runs.
I could be wrong as this is the first season I’ve played zdh, but it’s a feeling I have.
Hmm, how so? I don’t really use anything in 4th cube slot to hinder my ability to still ZDH. Most of the time I use Illusory Boots, sometimes Calamity…I could definitely do without them in 4th cube.
…Honestly, I cant even remember what I use in the first 3 slots since I havent played ina couple weeks or whatever. lol
For me, there’s interchangeable pieces in the armor slot or jewelry that you can use both of with the fourth slot, but would have to make a choice when the slot is taken away.
Maybe it’s different in 4-man. The most I’ve run with is Varadia or dmkt in two man, or both in 3-man.
I’m not sure though if I’m holding them back. But I did get dmkt a personal best in the 2 man season. So there’s that.
But like I said, I might have no idea about what I’m talking about.
Edit: or if you’re missing attack speed, Hunter’s Wrath might fit in too. At least I’ve seen other folks use it. but no one’s asked me to yet, so maybe it isn’t needed.
