Diablo 2 was a fun game, as such, I still play it on occasion. What made it fun for me, was the Druidic class, with the ability to go through three different trees choosing either pet battling, shapeshifting, or spells to assist myself and my friends when we played.
Every forum post I found about people wondering if we will ever see the druid again seems to keep being deleted, so this leads me to believe that there are plans in the making and spoilers are not being revealed to do as such.
One thing I would like to see return to Diablo is the diversity, allow the players to choose past heroic classes, even back from the original Diablo. There are a lot of in game engines that would be a simple tweak to add another class of the sort, and having the other classes would bring out a more rich environment, even for the hardcore fans that play to find the best methods.
Anyone’s thoughts on these ideas? I think it has merit.
