I have a list but it’s pretty much full of backseat driving on design and its pillars. Generally it has scribbles about stats, items and monster synergies. It’s pretty narrow so far as we only know crumbs about the game but perhaps I make a huge list about it later to toss it at Community Managers from socials… I’m sure the technicalities and limitations of the servers, bandwidth and anti-cheat will be handled eventually by them, so I have no questions.
Only technicality I want to know is how good the engine is with collision checks to create immersive and highly perspective sceneries in the battle field. They only went experimentative with Act 5 of Diablo 3 so far. At the beta phase of classic D3, they scrapped tons of features (ladder climbing and whatnot) supposedly due engine limitations.
Considering Diablo 4 engine is a vastly improved engine and even Diablo Immortal has eye catching features from game tests, I wonder what awaits us as a scenery. If I can’t see any complex advances and structures, then game will eventually turn to an arcade station with no space for improvements later down the road which I wouldn’t like to see.
