I just got this game and started out. I’m not very good at this but I’ve been having some success. I went back to town and entered the repair shop and repaired all my gear and bought a new weapon. When I needed repair again I found I didn’t have enough gold to make repairs. I don’t how to accumulate enough gold so I can make repairs. I’m killing lots of creatures but my “gold” doesn’t increase. What am I doing wrong?
You don’t need to worry too much about repairs unless you are taking so much damage that you get the little broken icon (small gold figure with a slash). Also make sure that you are repairing “equipped” and not “all”.
In early stages, you can sell some of the gear you find instead of salvaging. Don’t do it too long because you will need the mats eventually.
In early stage, try not buying items, use items dropped or craft items at blacksmith.
Crafting is cheaper than buying from vendor.
I’d salvage useless items for materials, and use the materials for crafting.
