Cosmetic is what you transmog into. They are two seperate words. Even if they are of used interchangeably, the do mean different things.

Where could such degree of idiocy come from? It’s only a word, it has one meaning. There are plenty of games useing it, and none is associated with WoW, just because one word.

Nothing of the sort. First, it’s about definition of a single word, not synonyms. Second, what you defined as transmog was a subjective opinion, then you quoted an objective definition that wasn’t a reflection of your opinion.
