In light of all that’s happened, in the last few weeks, and your decision to move the start date of S34 by 1 week, why can’t you just start S34 one day early, as this will still give most of the players, a chance to use the Darkening of Tristram event, to level up.
Note: D3 players weren’t given the privilege, of any holiday events, you turned on for your other games. You could have easily flipped a switched, but decided not too, and now you’re decided to also take this one away too.
At least give the players one perk, and please start the S34 on Thursday 30th.

Bro, come on, you dont need a tristam even for lvl up. Only need to up lvl 18 and kill some boss bounty. Is like the same time… Is not a drama. 1 week waiting for yes.
I plan all for this 24, and now delayed for 1 week more…

I mean you don’t need the Darkening event to level up, you don’t need the Alter either. But it is sure more fun.

I much prefer the event cus i’m near guaranteed the gems
Whereas doing it normally i once had to do 10 boss bounties before i got a single diamond

I’ve done some tests and it’s taken me on average 2, sometimes it takes 1 and sometimes 2 (and you can do them on the minimum difficulty) and it promises that it won’t take more than 5 minutes. Once you reach level 18, it will take no more than 15-20 minutes with a necromancer. No cache.
Can you see on youtube, one guy chill 1 hour leveling, with a monk an wd. And dont need event for that.

Why all the hate? when was the last time, you have the Event, at the start of a season. All I’m saying is that it would have been nice to have the Tristram event available.
I myself don’t need it, but would have like to tried beating my time, of 95 minutes, from 1 - 70.
My longest time for 2 diamonds was about 18 minutes. And that’s one of the reasons for the leveling discrepancies since the Altar came. Prior to the altar, you always saw the same 8 guys be the first to 70 (and almost always within the first 10 to 70). With the Altar (28, 30-33), the top 10 has varied wildly. Now, people can consistently get under 35 minutes, but nobody has gotten <30 more than once yet. Take into account that many of these people play multiple servers, so it’s like 10-15 attempts, and not just 5. When you’re talking 30 minutes to 70, the acquisition of the diamond can change your position in hitting rank 70 by a significant margin.
Tests are always something that need to be taken lightly. That’s why I started recording season start stats, because what people say they do often varies wildly from what they actually do.
You’ll see people put up test runs of Level 1 to GR70 in 3 hours, but come the actual season, they take over 6 hours. Because there are a lot of intricacies of the season start that are missed.
Look, no matter how bad someone can be, doing this is enough.
You level up to level 18 (you’ll get the kanai cube) and do 2 runs of act 2 vidian zone.
Once you reach 18, do level 0 requeriment and craft equipment.
Nothing else. At most, it takes you 2 hours to level up very slowly and calmly.

Please dont start s34 never. We recive a good amount of feedback what you dont need start new seasons on Diablo 3.

Alternatively, extending the Darkening of Tristram event by a week could work too.
Of course it’s not hard to level… but it’s just a nice little change of pace and scenery, to have the added option available for a season start. I would enjoy it too.

I inquired on Tristram and seeing if it could be extended but unfortunately it’s hard coded and not a server side fix thing we could do.

EU and ASIA will be able to do tristram event because tristram’s ending is in PST time
But i think they still should be able to start a day early.
Or is it also hardcoded for seasons to start in Fridays?

Maybe stop using AI and BS generators and learn how to do things?

Maybe if Blizz was a company that had like 1, 2, or 1000 employees who could write/adjust code they could fix this. Seeing as they only have 1 overworked I.T. guy in a company where no one else has a concept of how computers work, it seems this is impossible to fix.
