If you are worried, the simple answer is that you should just play new ladder every 3 months.
No, and hereâs why it wouldnât be necessary or even make sense: you can spend the vast majority of time each ladder MFing to your heartâs content, and at the end of the ladder, it all converts to non-ladder anyway. Therefore, the effect is basically the same, and nerfing drop rates would only encourage botting even more. Having to stack up some MF on a new character every six months just isnât that much of a hurdle. All it does is make you wait to be able to use it on your older characters or the âsenior citizensâ of my account as I call them.
Now personally, I donât want botting to be worse and I donât want to be punished for not being a bot. I donât know what game youâre playing that loot is raining from the sky, but itâs not happening to me.
Big no, drop need to stay at it is. I really dont understand why some players want to mess with loot and chances. There is many thing which can be improved in D2 but drop chances are pretty much perfect.
Thats why there are seasons, so players starts again from nothing.
No way. I ve been playing D2 Lod for past 2 weeks. Cant find anything of Mephisto hell and hell cows. Ive been putting in 4-6 hours a day. Trust me the grind is already very hard. Any harder and there wonât be enough hours in a day before Mephisto or cows drop something. Do you remember how D3 was when it was first released? Is that what u want? Grinding endlessly to get a rare item? Play D2 Lod original from scratch by yourself, and see how hard it is to get anything.
I have this suggestion month ago here:
I think we mostly agree the drop rates needs #NO CHANGES!
Thank goodness actual professionals are making this game and not you.
