According to the Notifications tooltip, you shouldn’t have to use the full BattleTag. As seen in this image posted above (and below):

I got a notification with a blue :point_right: icon.
Clicking the notification bring me to the first post of this thread.

OK – so we now know what the invite button does… too bad it brings to the first post though… what a « strange » setup (trying to stay polite :smile:)

I tried to invite myself… no way… it wanted to invite another Boubou :rofl:

Yeah, I got this too. When I clicked on it, I was taken to the OP though. The slider to the right did have the “Back” flag attached and when I click on that, it took me to Boubou’s post:

sigh The more I work with this new system… the more it surprises me how things “work”.

I’m sure the original developpers had some sort of a plan… but I just can’t figure out what that would had been…

If I correct, the buttons at bottom apply to the topic.
While the buttons of each post apply to that post.
I.e. The Reply button on each post replies to the poster of that post. While the Reply at bottom replies to the topic (no specific person).

Same for the Invite button at bottom invites people to join the topic.

That sounds reasonable. The Bookmark works that way too. You can Bookmark a particular post to jump to that post when you need to. If you click the Bookmark button at the bottom of a topic, it Bookmarks the OP.

Yes… the flag button(s) also work that way… use the one under a post to flag that specific post… use the one at the very bottom of the conversation to flag the entire conversation.

But there is no “invite” button under each post… and there would be no need for it either if the @ thingy worked. And the invite button is not perfect either… try it with Boubou (there should be two of us) or ShadowDragon (4 !!).

Got the invite.
I have also send an invite to Boubou too. Fortunately, two Boubous have different avatars.

Edit: according to Invite dialog, username has the format “xxxxxx-9999”.
Another trial: @Boubou-1741 @Perusoe-1251

I haven’t used AutoHotkey since my last computer, during my PoE days. I did some searching for Window Spy. I’m a little reluctant to use this and wouldn’t know what to do with the information it generated anyway.

I think I’ll just reinstall Windows. It’s probably due for a good “wiping”. :laughing:
