Iâll bet the PTR will actually be next week finally.
Sounds like a lot of issues behind the release of PTR.
Plus Classic Team has so much work to do with live version bugs, etc.

Iâm OK with a bugged PTR.
PTR is for testing purposes.
Allowing players to debug early is healthy.

You really donât have to bet here. This game or any games always have bugs. This PTR is not supposed to fix all of them, unless it significantly ruin the game. Diablo 3 is a good product and service with continuous improvement. OK, release the PTR please.
Depends on what you mean by âbugged PTR.â If some ability or item is a little bugged, oh well. If there are infrastructure issues that are causing lag, desync, disconnects, etc, itâs not worth releasing the build. You canât get valuable test data if the build is unstable and things arenât working.

well the point is: it will be ready when gets ready, i preffer to test the thing with lil amount of bugs as possible, makes the whole thing less stresfull, plus the team working during quarentine, just this fact is already remarkable, plus they gave us feedback and an estimated release date ( this week ).

Do you know how any of this works at all? Talking out of your butt a little? They have a main server for the game thatâs whatever build there trying to work on at the moment. Each dev has there own computer that connects to to the main server and makes adjustments to the build. Build resets at night when your not working on it. So itâs very easy to have the dev team either remote in, or just bring the pc home. Making it seem so hard to do there job lol
Blizzard is the slowest dev in the industry as is. Now imagine blizzard going with the working from home due to pandemic thing lol. There is a real culture and quality problem at blizzard. Other devs are saying theyâre getting more done because they feel less stressed working at home. Theyâre coding on their terms, and many are plinking away here and there throughout the day and night. Theyâre feeling refreshed. So thereâs obviously a problem here, and its getting out of hand. D4 is 2023 at this rate probably, despite being in the works for half a decade now lol.
At least someone is giving updates for once, and itâs much appreciated to see someone actually like, doing their job there.
Currently 4th days left of this week. Thatâs 25% chance PTR will go live today. How lucky yall feeling?

Would prefer daily updates - doesnât have to be anything other than still WIP, coming soonâ˘, or other, instead of a hard date at this point.
We all know itâs being worked on, but I think most of us are checking daily for deployment =)

As much as Iâm not enjoying the wait, in the end itâs only a game and should not take president over your livelihood.
Much like the reminders for maintenance when you log in they could put it there whither itâs on or not.
