Here I would like to give an idea for the upcoming set of the demon hunter. 1-2 years ago there was a Spike Trap approach with an “Sticky Trap” and I thought that was really cool. So why not use it again in an adapted way?
Sacrament of the Trap Hunter
- Set:
Active Caltrops increase Spike Trap damage by 200 %.
Spike Trap receives the bonus according to your off-hand:
- Quiver: Increases the maximum number by 1.
- One-handed ranged weapon: explode again after a second.
- Shield: Has no recharge time.
- Set:
Spike trap turns into “Sticky Trap” and is attached to the first enemy hit, according to your main-hand:
- One-handed melee weapon: As soon as 8 hatred are actively generated.
- One-handed ranged weapon: As soon as 16 hatred have been consumed.
- Two-handed ranged weapon: every 2 seconds.
- Set:
Active Caltrops reduce your damage taken by 60 %.
Each exploded Spike Trap increases your Spike Trap, Elemental Arrow, Chakram, Strafe, and Primary Skills damage by 4,000 % for 8 seconds and can stack to the maximum number of Spike Traps you can have.
Trag`Oul Coils (Bracer):
Spike Traps gain the Impaling Spines rune and its damage is increase by 150 – 200 %.
The Demons Demise (one-hand Crossbow):
Increases Spike Trap damage by 350 – 500 % and halves hate costs.
All legendary Elemental Arrow-, Chakram-, and Strafe items should receive a damage increase.
