If heās not mistaken about 1:10000, 666 attempts is nothing when it comes to farming for the wings. Itās going to be FAR faster to hunt via Lillian. Unless heās mistaken about the odds, realistically, youāre going to have to play 15 hours a day, every day of the event to have a 50% shot at the wings. (I know I posted 8 hours a day in the thread, but thatās going on an unrealistic, perfect efficient play).
For me, itās starting to look like 1 in a 1,000,000! 
After 666 tries? No wings? Dang, thatās evil. Diablo is sending you a message.
It took 10 Gifts but I got the Sword of Mediocrity which is all I wanted. Oh, and some Coal which I have not received though my lady got 3 of them. In 4 Gifts.

P.S. If I roll a six-sided dice, there is a 1 in 6 chance to roll the number ā4ā. That does not mean that I am guaranteed to roll the number ā4ā in 6 rolls of the dice.

Something I realized after seeing this thread back from the dead.
I havenāt gotten any wings yet eitherā¦ LOL
But I havenāt opened any gifts yet. Been accumulating them in my stash. Trying to see if I can fill the stash before the season ends now.
Then open them all at once. Or close to it.
Two weeks ago on ASIA Iāve gotten the wings in less than 10 Holiday gifts. Yesterday I gotāem on EU (this time much more gifts, did not count). Iāve yet to get them on Americas region. Fingers crossed.
Well, 666 isnāt a lucky number.
Try 888 or 8888 and on, those are considered lucky. Well in China at least.
Hope you get them soon though.

Was entertaining seeing someone so clearly wrong fighting so damn hard to get everyone to believe them even though not a single person besides that guy believes saying a chance is a guarantee. I think they were confused because the word āinā was inside the sentence. Since obviously āinā implicates it exists no matter what.
I got them after ~1100 boxes.

Hundreds of gifts so far, no wings.
Congrats! I still have not, but donāt have the time to farm nearly that much. Coming to the likely conclusion Iām not going to get them.
It should be noted that when the holiday gifts are removed or deactivated, I would make sure you donāt have any un-opened ones left before hand. I believe the Holiday gifts were to stop dropping after the 2nd or the 4th of February. While I would hope they wouldnāt disappear if you have been stashing any, that doesnāt mean they wonāt disappear either. Just FYI.
Same here. That is why my time when I get to play has been spent doing nothing but farming them.
